During a press conference at the White House Thursday, he asserted the bill will lower the cost of living for Americans and even cut the federal deficit.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the bill\u2019s supposed intent to reduce inflation, Biden said it will significantly address what he called the \u201cclimate crisis\u201d and be an investment in so-called \u201cenvironmental justice.\u201d The President highlighted former Vice President Al Gore\u2019s support of the legislation as well as far-left Sen. Elizabeth Warren\u2019s.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThis bill would be the most significant legislation in history to tackle the climate crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 President Biden touts the climate initiatives in the slimmed-down reconciliation deal that Sen. The President then claimed America is not in a recession, despite economists saying otherwise.
