Bialik will then begin hosting in January and will also head up \u201cCelebrity Jeopardy!\u201d and the \u201cJeopardy! National College Championship,\u201d per <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/27\/jeopardy-officially-names-mayim-bialik-ken-jennings-as-hosts\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The long-running trivia show has gone through multiple hosts since the death of \u201cJeopardy!\u201d icon Alex Trebek in November 2020. Now producers have settled on having two hosts despite backlash against both for different reasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jennings, who became famous for his record-breaking run on the show as a contestant, had to apologize for some controversial tweets that were unearthed after he began hosting. Meanwhile, Bialik has been criticized for making mistakes on the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJeopardy!\u201d fans had mixed feelings about the news that both Jennings and Bialik would be hosting going forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlex, I\u2019ll take Who Will Be More Woke? for $500.00,\u201d one person <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Leland071869\/status\/1552398269891887105\">replied<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth are boring &#038; lackluster,\u201d someone else <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=Both%20are%20boring%20%26%20lackluster&#038;src=typed_query&#038;f=live\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKen should be the one and only,\u201d another fan <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wfcr50\/status\/1552416629878824960\">argued<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeep her. Lose him,\u201d another person <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tom_tkeane\/status\/1552501956131917824\">chimed in<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While there was no clear sentiment on which of these two, if any, should become the permanent solo host, fans did seem annoyed that show execs decided to keep both rather than making a decision. Some predicted that \u201cJeopardy!\u201d would eventually choose Jennings or Bialik based on future ratings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this summer, LeVar Burton expressed his disappointment over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-fix-was-in-levar-burton-reflects-on-losing-jeopardy-hosting-gig\">not being chosen<\/a> as the permanent host of the game show. \u201cExperiencing a very public defeat \u2014 humiliation, if you will \u2014 was sobering.
