Jan. 6, 2021 in an attempt to stop the certification of the 2020 presidential election, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/event\/United-States-Capitol-attack-of-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Britannica<\/a>. More than 900 members of the mob that stormed the Capitol building have since been arrested, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/07\/07\/jan-6-prosecutions-months-later-00044354\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Politico<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>One viral Facebook post shared by conservative influencers Lynette Diamond Hardaway and Rochelle Silk Richardson, also known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diamondandsilkinc.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diamond and Silk<\/a>, questions why no one was arrested inside the Capitol building on the day of the riot if crimes were being committed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy was nobody arrested inside of the Capitol on January 6th if a crime was being committed?\u201d reads the post. <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/01\/17\/fact-check-virginia-thomas-jan-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>(RELATED: <\/b><b>Was Clarence Thomas\u2019 Wife One Of The Organizers Of The January 6 Riot?)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>This claim that no one was arrested inside of the Capitol building is incorrect.
