Not Right. Forward,\u201d the party states on its official\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forwardparty.com\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The party aims to be on the ballot in\u00a015 states by the end of 2022 and hopes to be in all 50 states within two years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter hundreds of hours of meetings and conversations, we realized that we could do more together than we could apart,\u201d Yang said\u00a0of the merger on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.andrewyang.com\/blog\/huge-news-re-the-forward-party\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to an official announcement\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/secureservercdn.net\/45.40.150.54\/fvl.bd9.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FWDTOGETHER_Announcementpdf.pdf\">pdf)<\/a> on the party\u2019s website, Forward Party will be \u201ca political home for the majority of Americans who want to move past the era of divisiveness and do-nothing politicians\u2014so that our government starts working again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The party says it will \u201clook and feel different\u201d and \u201ccelebrates diverse viewpoints and creativity, works to truly improve communities, and focuses on uniting people around common-sense solutions to foster free people, thriving communities, and vibrant democracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Convention Set for 2023 <\/p>\n<p>Forward Party will officially launch at a national convention in the summer of 2023 but is inviting Americans to join the party in the meantime in an effort to \u201cfix our broken political system.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver 70 percent of elected positions have only one candidate competing for them, and the two major parties have shut out competition,\u201d the group states.<\/p>\n<p>The new party hopes to fix this by giving<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Several former Republican and Democratic officials have joined forces to form a new political party in an effort to provide Americans with\u00a0an alternative to the two major parties.
