Also Turning Point USA wanted to clarify \u2014 wanted us to clarify this was a Turning Point USA summit and not a Republican Party event. So we apologize for anything we said that may have been unclear on these points.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey still invited Matt Gaetz though, I would just like to note,\u201d guest cohost \u2014 and former member of then-President Donald Trump\u2019s White House \u2014 Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out.<\/p>\n<p>During Monday\u2019s broadcast, co-hosts Behar and Goldberg had suggested that TPUSA had effectively accepted the neo-Nazis when they did not force them to leave \u2014 and Goldberg suggested that they were even allowed inside the venue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNeo-Nazis were out there in the front of the conference with antisemitic slurs and, you know, the Nazi swastika and a picture of a so-called Jewish person with exaggerated features, just like Goebbels did during the Third Reich.\u00a0It\u2019s the same thing, right out of that same playbook,\u201d Behar said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou let them in and you knew what they were, so you are complicit,\u201d Goldberg accused \u2014 but later, upon being called out for her blatantly false statement, added, \u201cMy point was more metaphorical, that you embrace them at your thing, I felt.
