You claim that you\u2019re a journalistic entity that is fighting \u201cdisinformation,\u201d of course. \u00a0You call yourself a \u201cfact-checker.\u201d You throw in some words like \u201caccountability\u201d and \u201cdata-driven\u201d and then proceed to hide the facts and drive your own political narrative, leaving truth in the dust.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/themarkup.org\/\">The Markup<\/a> is a recent entry into the crowded field of leftists who want to control what we see, hear and read. Its <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2018\/09\/23\/the-markup-a-tech-focused-investigative-news-site-raises-20-million-from-craigslist-founder\/\">major funding<\/a> comes from the founder of Craig\u2019s List, Craig Newmark. The billionaire (worth $1.3 billion according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/craig-newmark\/?sh=1c7b18e07a4c\">Forbes<\/a>) is just one of many extremely wealthy so-called philanthropists who fund disinformation cloaked in righteous \u201cfact-checking\u201d. He\u2019s radically pro-abortion, claiming on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/craignewmark\/status\/1542575574107004928\">Twitter<\/a>: \u201cAbortion rights are on the ballots this November. The ACLU is connecting the dots to protect and advance our rights on all fronts.\u201d\u00ad\u00ad<\/p>\n<p>On his website for <a href=\"https:\/\/craignewmarkphilanthropies.org\/\">Craig Newmark Philanthropies<\/a>, he claims his money \u201cpromotes trustworthy journalism.\u201d \u00a0Yet, these supposed \u201cwatchdog\u201d groups need someone to watch them. Their dishonesty and omissions are a disgrace to the field of journalism.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>CASE IN POINT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, I was contacted by an investigative reporter (I\u2019m using the term lightly) from The Markup. Her name is <a href=\"https:\/\/themarkup.org\/people\/lauren-kirchner\">Lauren Kirchner<\/a>. She wrote: \u201cAccording to the data we\u2019ve collected your group has bought either ads or sponsored posts on Facebook about Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) in the past several months.\u201d Well, that data was completely false. Shocker, right? The Radiance Foundation has <em>never<\/em> purchased ads or boosted posts on Facebook regarding the Abortion Pill Reversal. It\u2019s not because we don\u2019t fully support the life-saving procedure (we do!), but because Facebook has disallowed us from advertising on <em>any<\/em> social issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>APR has become the latest target of the desperate Left that obsesses over restricting information. <a href=\"https:\/\/abortionpillreversal.com\/\">Abortion Pill Reversal<\/a> is a procedure that can reverse a DIY chemical abortion. If a pregnant <em>woman\u00a0<\/em>takes the first of two pills (mifepristone) to abort her child, but changes her mind, she can be given Progesterone (a natural hormone) instead of the second pill (misoprostol). The result? The majority of the time, she can have a healthy pregnancy and save her baby. This process is overseen by healthcare professionals who are part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/abortionpillreversal.com\/about-us\">Abortion Pill Rescue Network<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Isn\u2019t this a choice any woman should have? I thought we <em>trusted women<\/em>?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>BUT THE \u201cMEDICAL EXPERTS\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The reporter asked a series of questions all predicated on how \u201cmedical experts\u201d claimed APR was \u201cnot based in science\u201d, \u201clife-threatening\u201d and \u201cbogus.\u201d It is, however, based in science and shows a 64%-68% success rate in this <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/30831017\/\">study<\/a> led by the creator of the process, <a href=\"https:\/\/lozierinstitute.org\/team-member\/george-delgado\/\">Dr. George Delgado<\/a> \u2013 a board-certified physician. Kirchner went on to cite a botched UC Davis \u201cstudy\u201d where \u201cthe physician who ran the study, told us, \u2018<em>Every leading medical organization has said this is bogus<\/em>.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That \u201cmedical expert\u2019s\u201d name is <a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/abortionists\/mitchell-d-creinin\/\">Mitchell Creinin<\/a>. He\u2019s an abortionist with <a href=\"https:\/\/health.ucdavis.edu\/obgyn\/services\/family-planning\/index.html\">UC Davis Family Planning Center<\/a>. Neither of those facts are mentioned in The Markup\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/themarkup.org\/citizen-browser\/2022\/07\/19\/facebook-allows-ads-for-potentially-dangerous-abortion-reversal-procedure\">attack piece<\/a>. Every researcher in the pro-abortion, anti-APR study is a practicing abortionist. Every single one. That\u2019s also not mentioned in the article. There\u2019s a major financial conflict of interest, wouldn\u2019t you say?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They wouldn\u2019t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The rabbit hole goes deeper. Mitchell Creinin is a <em>paid spokesperson<\/em> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.earlyoptionpill.com\/\">Danco Laboratories<\/a> \u2013 <em>drum roll please<\/em> \u2013 the maker of the abortion pill mifepristone! It\u2019s even stated <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/23262942\/\">here<\/a> in another bogus study he led, with other abortionists, showing how \u201csafe\u201d chemical abortions were at Planned Parenthood. Uhhhh, yeah. And the old RJ Reynolds tobacco company\u2019s PR team said smoking was safe, too. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t worry. Craig Newmark, the Ford Foundation, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macfound.org\/programs\/population\/\">MacArthur Foundation<\/a>, Open Society Foundations, the New Venture Fund and many more population control and massive funders of abortion worldwide want to make sure The Markup is not \u201cdata-driven\u201d but duty-driven to promote abortion at all costs. So what if award-winning \u201cjournalists\u201d have to lie to get it done.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Abortion is supreme. Facts are extreme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BACK TO THE \u201cSTUDY\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kirchner challenged why we support APR in light of its \u201chigh risks\u201d, saying the (abortionist-led) study had to be stopped because three women experienced severe hemorrhaging. Yet, only one of the three woman, who reportedly experienced severe hemorrhaging, received the progesterone. The other two received a placebo. Something else was obviously going on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And the American Association of Pro-Life OBGYNS (<a href=\"https:\/\/aaplog.org\/\">AAPLOG<\/a>) addresses it. The real reason for the halt of the small study seems to be that the abortionists didn\u2019t like the unwanted. <a href=\"https:\/\/aaplog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/AAPLOG_Responds_to_ACOG_Mifeprex_Study_11Dec19-1.pdf\">According<\/a> to board-certified OB\/GYNs Dr. Christina Francis and Dr. Donna Harrison of AAPLOG: \u201cOf the 5 women in the progesterone treatment group, 4 had healthy pregnancies two weeks after [first] taking mifepristone \u2013 that\u2019s an 80% success rate!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I challenged the reporter that hundreds of women have actually died since Roe from \u201csafe and legal\u201d abortions. Over 64 million children have been killed by it. Abortion\u2019s dangerous. It\u2019s high risk. It\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/radiancefoundation.org\/fakehealth\">fake health<\/a>. These Disinformation Warriors, who themselves are the source of what they claim to fight, want social media platforms to be anti-social to those who refuse to be woke and morally broke. The abandonment of objective truth is a public health emergency.<\/p>\n<p>The Markup omitted every response I provided for the article. That night, after the hit piece was published, Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/hiding-life-saving-solutions-from-women-facebook-takes-down-heartbeat-international-s-abortion-pill-reversal-page\">took down<\/a> Heartbeat International\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AbortionPillReversal\">APR page<\/a>. It was restored two days later due to an \u201cerror\u201d. <em>Right.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Markup notes that some (mis)leading medical associations denounce APR, but they\u2019ve long chosen to advance their <a href=\"https:\/\/radiancefoundation.org\/the-genocide-the-supreme-court-and-medical-groups-unleashed\/\">political agendas<\/a> over promoting medical accuracy. The radically pro-abortion American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and American Medical Association (AMA), for instance, were strongly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lb7.uscourts.gov\/documents\/15-17363_000.pdf\"><strong><em>for<\/em><\/strong><\/a> patient handoffs (aka hospital admitting privileges) <em>before<\/em> they were against them (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/news\/news-articles\/2020\/11\/hospital-admitting-privilege-mandates-undermine-physician-practice-and-unduly-burden-womens-access-to-abortion\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ama-assn.org\/delivering-care\/patient-support-advocacy\/us-supreme-court-strikes-down-admitting-privilege\">here<\/a>). But their unmedical stance against patient handoffs <em>only\u00a0<\/em>applies to abortion. Medical experts?<\/p>\n<p>No matter how many \u201cfact-checking\u201d entities, like The Markup, get birthed, the facts always seem to get aborted. When you have billionaires funding your propaganda, you get to keep publishing deadly lies.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do you make fake news even faker?
