Aunt Kathie been waiting for u. I\u2019ll love &#038; miss u both and live for us all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy-winner previously spoke with sincere respect about New Orleans Police officer Robert Hoobler who saved his life when he was 12 years old after a self-inflicted gunshot to the chest.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Hoobler\u2019s intervention and help enabled him to set a future course for stardom.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CgbEexPrkSc\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In an interview with Emmanuel Acho back in 2021, Lil Wayne detailed exactly what transpired after his childhood suicide attempt using his mother\u2019s gun.<\/p>\n<p>Lil Wayne said he was laying on the floor bloodied from the gunshot wound as the police officers who busted through the door other than Uncle Bob, were only focused on raiding the home.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The rapper said Uncle Bob shifted the other officers\u2019 focus away from the drugs in the house to helping Wayne survive.
