A Lego spokesperson confirmed the images do not depict an official product.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Azov Battalion is a Ukrainian \u201cfar-right all-volunteer infantry military unit whose members \u2013 estimated at 900 \u2013 are ultra-nationalists and accused of harbouring neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2022\/3\/1\/who-are-the-azov-regiment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Al-Jazeera<\/a>. Members of the battalion have been involved in some of the heaviest fighting throughout the war in Ukraine, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/ukraines-azov-battalion-looks-to-regroup-and-clean-up-image-11654453889\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Wall Street Journal<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post claims that Lego recently created official figurines of members of the battalion. Several images of the figurines, which carry rifles and wear fatigues, are included in the post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLEGO created figures of steel heroes of Azovstal,\u201d reads the post, which goes on to name specific Azov soldiers the company allegedly reproduced in Lego form. <span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/01\/14\/fact-check-lego-capitol-invasion-toy-set-two-months-ago\/\"><b>(RELATED: No, Lego Did Not Release A \u2018Capitol Invasion\u2019 Toy Set Two Months Ago)<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While the figurines are legitimate, they are not official Lego products. Check Your Fact found no mention of the alleged new set on Lego\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lego.com\/en-us\/search?q=Azov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>. There are likewise no <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewBecraft\/status\/1550302641313394689\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter user<\/a> who shared images of the figures.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brickmania.com\/about-brickmania\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brickmania<\/a>, a third-party Lego creator that focuses on military building kits and other accessories, likewise <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brickmaniatoys\/status\/1550581101214695424?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">clarified<\/a> in a tweet that it
