(Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images) <\/p>\n<p>The latest revelation is part of Grassley\u2019s ongoing effort to probe into Hunter Biden\u2019s business activities. In September 2020, he and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/senate-report-exposes-dealings-between-bidens-son-and-businessmen-connected-to-chinese-regime_3513028.html\">released a report<\/a>, discovering that there was \u201cpotential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh, and Chinese nationals,\u201d while Joe Biden was vice president during the Obama administration.<\/p>\n<p>In March, the two senators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/senators-release-bank-records-showing-payments-from-china-to-hunter-biden_4371710.html\">presented bank records<\/a> on the Senate floor showing CEFC China Energy, a now-defunct company, made payments to Hunter Biden. Currently, the U.S. attorney\u2019s office in Delaware is investigating Biden for possible tax violations.<\/p>\n<p> Whistleblowers <\/p>\n<p>According to whistleblowers, the FBI came into possession of information about Hunter Biden\u2019s \u201ccriminal financial and related activity\u201d in 2020, which prompted FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten to open an assessment in August 2020, according to the letter.
