That move prompted the\u00a0Wyoming Republican Party last year to vote to censure her\u00a0before deciding to stop recognizing her as a member.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), a member of the GOP leadership in the Senate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/sen-barrasso-there-are-not-enough-democrats-to-help-rep-cheney-win-primary_4588728.html\">told Fox News<\/a> earlier this month that Cheney\u2019s actions would likely spell problems for her\u00a0in her home state.<\/p>\n<p> Problems at Home <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWyoming politics is very personal, it\u2019s face-to-face, it\u2019s town-to-town,\u201d Barrasso told the publication. \u201cThe travel that I have done around the state, I think she has a lot of work to do if she hopes to win the primary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump himself has said he believes\u00a0Cheney will lose her reelection bid,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.\u00a0Liz Cheney\u00a0(R-Wyo.) is trailing significantly behind\u00a0Trump-endorsed challenger\u00a0Harriet Hageman in the\u00a0race for Wyoming\u2019s lone U.S. House seat in August, according to a recent poll in the Casper Star-Tribune.
