Gen. Don Bolduc is closing the margin of an expected Democratic victory in the Granite State.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2020 Republican Senate primary, Bolduc carried almost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmur.com\/article\/republican-don-bulduc-us-senate-new-hampshire-6222\/40181584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">60,000 votes<\/a> as the runner-up. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/robertzapesochny\/senate-new-hampshire-2022-elections-midterms\/2022\/06\/21\/id\/1075346\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a>\u00a0taken in April, only one point separated New Hampshire incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan and Bolduc, one of 11 candidates for the Republican primary scheduled for Sept. 13.<\/p>\n<p>Bolduc says he is very concerned about the future of America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, there is a plan for top-down governance and the abandonment of America\u2019s values and principles,\u201d he told The Epoch Times, describing it as a plan to \u201cundermine\u201d America. He said \u201cAmerica is weak\u201d at the moment, and there are a variety of issues it must continue to confront if the nation ever wants to recover its strength. These include, but are not limited to, abortion, gun control, the southern border, and the economy.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Abortion Violence<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>On the issue of abortion in America, Bolduc said, \u201cthe Supreme Court made the right decision by sending it back to the states.\u201d Regardless of which side of the issue women find themselves, he said, \u201c[they] have more control at the state level than they would ever have at the federal level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a pro-life candidate, he considers the narrative that many on the left are pushing to be \u201cvery dangerous.\u201d While President Joe Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2022\/07\/08\/remarks-by-president-biden-on-protecting-access-to-reproductive-health-care-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">calls upon<\/a> \u201cpro-choice senators and a pro-choice House to codify Roe as federal law,\u201d Hassan and colleagues are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hassan.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/senators-hassan-shaheen-and-colleagues-urge-president-biden-to-issue-executive-order-to-defend-americans-right-to-an-abortion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">urging<\/a> the president to \u201cdefend Americans\u2019 rights to abortion\u201d by executive order.
