The RNC noted that top officials like Chief of Staff Ron Klain and Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm have responded dismissively to price increases. Klain <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/14\/biden-ron-klain-inflation-high-class\/\">promoted<\/a> the claim that inflation is a \u201chigh class problem,\u201d while Granholm <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/05\/jennifer-granholm-energy-department-gasoline-prices-opec\/\">joked<\/a> about having a \u201cmagic wand\u201d to lower gas prices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden\u2019s out-of-touch agenda is subsidizing the affluent while leaving hardworking Americans behind. The Biden administration has repeatedly dismissed, mocked, and laughed at the struggles of American families,\u201d the RNC said in a Friday <a href=\"https:\/\/gop.com\/research\/bidens-working-for-the-wealthy-rsr\/\">release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The release cites the Biden administration\u2019s promotion of policies like tax credits for electric vehicles and student loan forgiveness as evidence for its claim. Thirteen of the most prominent supporters of student loan debt forgiveness owe up to $1.5 million in student loan debt themselves. New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/12\/dems-biden-student-loans-forgiveness\/\">owes<\/a> up to $50,000, while the husband of fellow New York Rep. Grace Meng owes up to $250,000, financial disclosure forms show. More than half of all student loan debt nationwide is held by individuals with graduate degrees, even though graduate degree holders constitute only one-fourth of borrowers.<\/p>\n<p>An electric vehicle tax <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/13\/democrats-green-energy-electric-vehicle-union-workers-tax-credit\/\">credit<\/a>, which some left-wing representatives pushed during reconciliation negotiations, would also benefit upper-class Americans. According to a 2019 Fuel Institute <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuelsinstitute.org\/Research\/Reports\/EV-Consumer-Behavior\/EV-Consumer-Behavior-Report.pdf\">survey<\/a>, \u201ct<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">he average EV <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">owner continues to be male, aged 40-55 years old, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">with an annual household income of more than <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">$100,000.\u201d Ocasio-Cortez famously <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/26\/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-aoc-sell-tesla-elon-musk-joke-hitting-on-him\/\">drives<\/a> a Tesla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Top Republicans have called on their party to emphasize a working-class message ahead of the 2022 midterms. Indiana Rep.
