Senators voted Tuesday to advance the bipartisan competition legislation allocating $52 billion for domestic semiconductor manufacturing and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/07\/20\/chips-act-vote-senate-advances-semiconductor-bill.html\">final<\/a> vote will reportedly occur this or next week.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEW \u2013 Pelosi says \u201cno, absolutely not\u201d and leaves when asked if her husband ever made stock trades based on information received from her.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ay04qa0zl5\">pic.twitter.com\/ay04qa0zl5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Disclose.tv (@disclosetv) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/disclosetv\/status\/1550146668678549511?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 21, 2022<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Pelosi indicated she will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/pelosi-backs-chips-bill-says-house-could-vote-measure-next-week-2022-07-20\/\">support<\/a> the legislation Wednesday, noting she is \u201coptimistic\u201d that her chamber will \u201ctake this bill up as early as next week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist for the left-wing think tank Public Citizen, previously told the DCNF that Paul\u2019s dealings raise the question if he \u201ccould have access to some insider legislative information.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the reason why there is a stock trading app that exclusively monitors Paul\u2019s trading activity and then its followers do likewise,\u201d said Holman.<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi\u2019s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
