Ted Budd introduced a bill Thursday that would shut down an executive order issued by President Joe Biden that could require federal officials to participate in electioneering activities.<\/p>\n<p>The legislation, first obtained by the Daily Caller, is titled the Promoting Free and Fair Elections Act. The bill would prohibit federal agencies from using taxpayer funds to implement or enter into agreements with partisan organizations that conduct voter mobilization activities.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s executive\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2021\/03\/10\/2021-05087\/promoting-access-to-voting\">order<\/a>, issued March 7, 2021, requires all executive department and agency heads to \u201cevaluate ways in which the agency can, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, promote voter registration and voter participation.\u201d The order lists the distribution of voter registration materials, application assistance, and the promotion of third-party organizations as potential options for agency heads.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ THE BILL HERE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"View (DAILY CALLER OBTAINED) -- Budd -- Promoting Free and Fair Elections Act on Scribd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/583515028\/DAILY-CALLER-OBTAINED-Budd-Promoting-Free-and-Fair-Elections-Act#from_embed\">(DAILY CALLER OBTAINED) \u2014 \u2026<\/a> by <a title=\"View Henry Rodgers&#039;s profile on Scribd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/user\/527927298\/Henry-Rodgers#from_embed\">Henry Rodgers<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bill would prevent the Biden administration from using the power and resources of the federal executive branch, and federal offices located in states across the U.S., from engaging in voter registration and mobilization efforts. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/19\/house-democrats-arrested-outside-supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Here Are The 17 Members Of Congress Who Were Arrested Outside The Supreme Court)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Biden\u2019s executive order empowering every federal agency to engage in electioneering on the taxpayers\u2019 dime raises serious ethical and legal concerns.
