In an interview on Saturday, Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) called on plumbers near Texas for help, as state licensing requirements have been waived by the governor.<\/p>\n<p>The Republican told potential plumbers \u201cwe\u2019re going to need you and you\u2019ll be put to work.\u201d He explained the energy crisis started when half of the state\u2019s turbines froze and temperatures disrupted natural gas flow.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2375726\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2375726\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2375726\" src=\"https:\/\/dzm0ugdauank9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/GettyImages-1161615880-651x437.jpg\" alt=\"WASHINGTON, DC - JULY 12: Rep.
