The Assault Weapons Ban, introduced by Rhode Island Rep. David Cicilline, would <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/20\/democrats-assault-weapons-ban-gop-support\/\">prohibit<\/a> the ownership of most semi-automatic weapons. The Equal Access To Justice for Victims of Gun Violence Act, introduced by California Rep. Adam Schiff, would establish civil liability for firearms manufacturers if their guns are used in shootings.<\/p>\n<p>Hogg, the founder of the gun control group March For Our Lives, interrupted Republican Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs\u2019 comments on drug cartels and human smuggling. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/09\/marco-rubios-office-responds-david-hogg-false-claim\/\"><strong>(RELATED: Marco Rubio\u2019s Office Responds After Gun Control Activist Claims Senator Won\u2019t Meet With Him)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Po Murray, a fellow gun control activist with Newtown Action Alliance, shared a video of Hogg\u2019s outburst on Twitter.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The House Republicans are spreading lies &#038; using racist rhetoric to fight the passage of the assault weapons ban bill. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/davidhogg111?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@davidhogg111<\/a> just cleared it up for them. Assault weapons in Mexico come from the United States! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/WKLuGXk65z\">pic.twitter.com\/WKLuGXk65z<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Po Murray (@po_murray) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/po_murray\/status\/1549793397812170754?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 20, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re repeating the points of mass shooters in your manifesto. The shooter at my high school, anti-Semitic, anti-black, and racist,\u201d Hogg yelled as committee chairman Jerrold Nadler of New York attempted to gavel him down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe shooter in El Paso described it as an invasion. Guess what? Those guns are coming from the United States of America. They aren\u2019t coming from Mexico,\u201d Hogg continued. The video captured someone, apparently Murray, saying, \u201cthat\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are not coming from Mexico. You are reiterating the points of a mass shooter, sir. Sir, you are perpetuating violence. You need to realize it\u2019s not about Democrats or Republicans.
