A straw purchase is when an individual buys a gun for someone else.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll I\u2019m doing is verifying that you have it, you got two different purchases,\u201d an unidentified agent can be heard saying in the video, which was captured by a Ring camera. \u201cIf you have them, I\u2019m out of here. That\u2019s how quick it is. Yeah. Do you have them with you by any chance?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re in my safe,\u201d the homeowner said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you can unload them and bring them out, we can go out to your foyer here, check them out, write the serial numbers and we\u2019re out of here,\u201d the agent responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s it?\u201d the homeowner asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYep,\u201d the agent said before a second unidentified agent jumped in and said, \u201cIt will take five seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third individual, who appears to be a state trooper, said \u201cthe reason we\u2019re out here is obviously gun violence is at an uptick. We want to make sure \u2013 we\u2019ve been having a lot of issues with straw purchases. One of the things, indicators we get is someone making a large gun purchase, and then a lot of times, we\u2019ve been there and \u2018oh, those guns got taken.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea is that when you purchase more than two guns at a time it generates a multiple sales report and it comes to us and we have to check them out,\u201d the first agent then added. \u201cThat\u2019s all that is. You did nothing wrong \u2013 absolutely zero. I just \u2013 I didn\u2019t expect,\u201d the homeowner began before the first agent interjected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh no. It just came up. We came here, look, I\u2019m telling you. There\u2019s an email from the federal side saying can you make sure this guy\u2019s got his guns. If you recently purchased a whole bunch of guns, if we can look at them and just scratch them off,\u201d the agent said before the homeowner said he does have all his guns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can look at them and write which ones you just bought, so we can save a trip from coming back,\u201d the second agent said. \u201cWe\u2019ll confirm that you have them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The homeowner retreated inside, while outside the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/10\/liberal-proposed-amendment-repealing-2a-michael-moore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">trooper<\/a>, seemingly unaware he\u2019s on camera, said, \u201cHe doesn\u2019t believe we\u2019re cops.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t blame him,\u201d the first agent said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/elWf8e5LSr\">pic.twitter.com\/elWf8e5LSr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Frankie Stockes \u2013 Reporter (@stockes76) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/stockes76\/status\/1549711161700089867?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 20, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The homeowner brought out one <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/14\/the-ap-tells-media-outlets-to-stop-referring-to-all-guns-as-assault-weapons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rifle<\/a> and one of the agents checked the serial number before saying it wasn\u2019t necessary for the homeowner to retrieve any more guns, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthaboutguns.com\/knock-knock-video-shows-atf-straw-purchase-task-force-asking-to-see-delaware-homeowners-guns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Truth About Guns<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/19\/go-down-ship-sheriff-says-will-not-give-fbi-info-legal-gun-owners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018I Will Go Down With The Ship If Need Be\u2019: Sheriff Says He Will Not Give FBI Info On Legal Gun Owners)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The homeowner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, said the situation was embarrassing, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was embarrassed,\u201d the homeowner reportedly said. \u201cMy neighbors saw the whole thing \u2013 guys in these police vests standing in my yard. I was really uncomfortable. I felt really confused, like I was in some way being accused of something even though I didn\u2019t commit a crime. It was quite embarrassing. I knew they couldn\u2019t come in, but I didn\u2019t know what to do.
