He has never met, communicated, or agreed with any of them about anything. This is why all of [Trump\u2019s] allegations that Danchenko conspired with anyone are conclusory and factually baseless. \u2026 [Trump] can allege no specifics. There are none.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/john-durham-christopher-steele-dossier-igor-danchenko-trial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALLEGED <\/a><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/john-durham-christopher-steele-dossier-igor-danchenko-trial\">DOSSIER SOURCE DANCHENKO FACES DURHAM TRIAL<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Danchenko, a Russian-born lawyer, was <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/steeles-main-dossier-source-arrested-in-durham-investigation-report\">charged<\/a><\/u> in November by special counsel <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/john-durham\">John Durham<\/a> with five counts of making false statements to <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/fbi\">the FBI<\/a><\/u>, which Durham says he made about information he provided to Steele for his discredited dossier. <\/p>\n<p>According to Durham\u2019s charges, Danchenko anonymously sourced what was a fabricated claim from longtime Bill and Hillary Clinton ally <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/pr-executive-1-identified-as-longtime-clinton-adviser-who-fed-falsehood-to-steele-source\">Chuck Dolan<\/a><\/u> about Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort&#8217;s resignation. Durham claimed Dolan \u201cactively campaigned and participated in calls and events as a volunteer\u201d for Clinton\u2019s 2016 campaign, and he spent years doing work for Russian businesses and Russia&#8217;s government, including in 2016. Durham has not charged Dolan or Clinton with wrongdoing. Dolan is <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/pr-executive-1-identified-as-longtime-clinton-adviser-who-fed-falsehood-to-steele-source\">discussed at length<\/a> in the Danchenko indictment. <\/p>\n<p>Danchenko has <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/steele-dossier-source-igor-danchenko-pleads-not-guilty-to-lying-to-fbi\">pleaded<\/a><\/u> not guilty. He has lived and worked in the Washington, D.C., area for many years, and he allegedly relied upon a <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/the-many-russian-links-to-the-operatives-behind-the-steele-dossier\">network<\/a><\/u> of Russian contacts but undermined key collusion claims when interviewed by the FBI.
