The Russian invasion of Ukraine has intensified a global food crisis as Russia continues to blockade Ukrainian ports, preventing the exportation of grain, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2022\/jun\/13\/ukraine-farmers-seed-food-crisis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Guardian<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook video, viewed over 5,600 times, appears to show a Ukrainian combine harvester attempting to harvest crops as part of the field burns in the background. \u201cHarvesting in Ukraine 2022,\u201d reads the video\u2019s title. \u201cThis is how the harvesting amid Russia\u2019s invasion in Ukraine is taking place,\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/03\/17\/fact-check-russian-military-equipment-ukraine-farmer-tractor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show A Ukrainian Farmer Towing A Rocket?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>The footage predates the current invasion of Ukraine, however. A longer version of it<\/span><span> appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vups0qwjNEg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a> in 2014 with a Russian-language title that translates to, \u201cFire in the field. Save the harvest.\u201d The description does not provide any further context or details about what the video depicts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Although the Facebook video is miscaptioned, numerous Ukrainian farms have been damaged and burned during the course of the war, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/07\/11\/europe\/ukraine-harvest-battlefield-intl\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a>. In some instances, Ukrainian farmers are rushing to harvest crops near the frontlines of the conflict, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/ukrainian-farmers-rush-harvest-grain-fields-near-frontline-2022-07-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reuters<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time misinformation regarding Ukrainian farmers has spread online.
