The only thing I could do to get away from this (living situation) was to get out and run.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Farah was enrolled at two primary schools for a very short period of time before attending Feltham Community College at 11.<\/p>\n<p>His physical education teacher Alan Watkinson contacted social services and helped him find a foster family in the Somali community after Farah told him what he was going through.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt like a lot of stuff was lifted off my shoulders, and I felt like me. That\u2019s when Mo came out \u2013 the real Mo,\u201d Farah said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had no idea there was so many people who are going through exactly the same thing that I did.
