However, the rally has since been \u201cpostponed\u201d with plans for it to be rescheduled, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wavy.com\/news\/north-carolina\/donald-trumps-rally-in-greensboro-n-c-has-been-postponed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WAVY.com<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>A Facebook post, shared over 1,400 times, claims Donald Trump would not be giving attendees refunds for the postponed event. A July 13 community article on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/stories\/2022\/7\/13\/2110072\/-No-3-995-ticket-refunds-for-cancelled-North-Carolina-Trump-rally-suckers-can-go-to-Wisconsin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Daily Kos<\/a> made a similar claim.<\/p>\n<p>In reality, would-be rally-goers are able to receive a refund. <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfreedomtour.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American Freedom Tour<\/a> Customer Service Representative Juliet Murdock told Check Your Fact in an email that anyone who purchased tickets to the event was \u201centitled to a refund\u201d if it had been \u201ccancelled or postponed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There are no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=trump+rally+no+refund&#038;oq=trump+rally+no+refund&#038;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i61j69i60.2556j0j1&#038;sourceid=chrome&#038;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">credible news reports<\/a> suggesting anyone has been denied a refund for the postponed rally. The News &#038; Observer debunked the claim in a July 12 piece titled, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsobserver.com\/news\/politics-government\/article263385438.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stuck with NC Trump rally tickets? Here\u2019s what to do<\/a>.\u201d<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/06\/30\/fact-check-trump-cassidy-hutchinson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Trump Make This Statement About Cassidy Hutchinson?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Greensboro rally was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsobserver.com\/news\/politics-government\/article263385438.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reportedly<\/a> cancelled as Donald Trump and two of his children were summoned to testify under oath as part of a probe by the New York attorney general into the former president\u2019s finances, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/06\/08\/trump-new-york-ag-july-15-ivanka\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Axios<\/a>. The depositions, which were set to begin July 15, were delayed as the result of the July 14 death of Ivana Trump, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/07\/15\/ny-ag-delays-depositions-of-trump-and-two-children-after-death-of-ivana-trump.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNBC<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time misinformation regarding Trump rallies has circulated on social media.
