The publication reported that the 52-year-old celebrity also did so when she was married to Marc Anthony from 2004 until 2014. Six months after their divorce was finalized, she changed it back.<\/p>\n<p>After Affleck and Lopez\u2019s nuptial news went viral, the singer shared a <a href=\"https:\/\/l.instagram.com\/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fonthejlo.com%2F&#038;e=ATMx-zTg4YqSFzBEn-pTWDXMLkwIt-WI_ZYktWMbe3vqYnESPzeIzOs9i3ao0vw4k9RJ3ZzCB3LMEY89XPU&#038;s=1\">newsletter<\/a> update with fans that provided more photos and details. She linked to it on Instagram, plus posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CgIQCz6Pk0U\/?hl=en\">photo<\/a> of herself smiling in bed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,\u201d she wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world,\u201d Lopez continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBehind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville on their daughter\u2019s second birthday\u2014all of us wanting the same thing\u2014 for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lengthy letter described the venue and their transportation, which was allegedly a pink Cadillac convertible that was \u201cevidently once used by the king himself,\u201d referring to Elvis Presley, who was known as \u201cThe King of Rock and Roll.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined,\u201d the \u201cGigli\u201d star wrote. \u201cOne we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cWhen love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving and good to one another. We had that. And so much more.
