According to the Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office on Sunday, an argument broke out between two groups of men in the courtyard of the building when shots were fired.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cAt first I thought it was fireworks,\u201d voiced resident Gladys Martinez said. \u201cBut I was like no, those are not fireworks. Those are shots. The last one was around my porch. So my husband comes in and tells me there\u2019s a dead body right here. So I come out and I start calling 911.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Officers discovered four victims with gunshot wounds, according to authorities.\u00a0Three men were pronounced dead at the scene and one other died at the hospital. Witnesses said they tried to attempt life saving efforts on one of the victims, but it was too late. Authorities confirmed the victims were 16, 19 and 25-years-old.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cWhen I heard gunshots I just immediately grabbed my girlfriend,\u201d a resident said. \u201cWe ran to the nearest part of the house, away from the window until it was over. Until I was able to confirm that there were cops out. As soon as I looked out the window I saw a few bodies on the floor.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update: a body, believed to be the missing teen, has been located along the shoreline at the 18000 blk of Riverside. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/HouNews?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#HouNews<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DpikQ1RSoi\">https:\/\/t.co\/DpikQ1RSoi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ed Gonzalez (@SheriffEd_HCSO) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SheriffEd_HCSO\/status\/1548671000631549954?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Investigators believe the\u00a0fatal shooting was sparked over an argument between two parties. Apartment residents who saw the incident told deputies they saw several males, including the victims, shooting at each other after an argument. A woman identified one of the victims as her brother, William Reyes.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"sc-bdVaJa dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-2 hLMqRF\"><strong>\u201cHe loved his people. He loved his family,\u201d Naomi Velazquez stated. \u201cHe has a little girl, one-years-old. So that\u2019s the worst thing about it. He has a little daughter he\u2019s not going to be able to see her no more.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"sc-bdVaJa dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-2 hLMqRF\">A weapon was recovered at the scene.
