Wade<\/em><\/a> as examples of roadblocks to the president pursuing his agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just had so many things thrown his way,\u201d Biden said, according to CNN. \u201cWho would have ever thought about what happened [with the Supreme Court overturning] Roe v Wade? Well, maybe we saw it coming, but still we didn\u2019t believe it. The gun violence in this country is absolutely appalling. We didn\u2019t see the war in Ukraine coming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden shifted some blame for the president\u2019s stalled agenda onto Republicans in the Democrat-led Congress, even as Democrats fail to maintain unity in their Party, CNN reported. President Biden\u2019s Build Back Better agenda was dealt yet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democrat-senator-throws-another-wrench-into-bidens-agenda-biden-is-not-pleased\">another blow<\/a> by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) earlier this week after the senator refused to support the Democratic legislation related to climate change and tax increases.<\/p>\n<p>Along with discussing her frustrations with her husband\u2019s difficulties, Biden also mentioned the challenges she encountered during her role as first lady.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was saying to myself, \u2018Okay, I was second lady. I worked on community colleges. I worked on military families. I\u2019ve worked on cancer.\u2019 They were supposed to be my areas of focus. But then when we got [in the White House,] I had to be, with all that was happening, the first lady of the moment,\u201d Biden commented.<\/p>\n<p>The first lady\u2019s comments come shortly after President Joe Biden\u2019s approval rating slumped to a dismal 33% in a New York Times\/Siena College <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/07\/11\/us\/politics\/biden-approval-polling-2024.html\">poll<\/a> released earlier this week.
