The war between the two nations has now raged for over 100 days.<\/p>\n<p>A video shared on Facebook claims Ukraine has had some battlefield success. \u201cHorrible Attack!! Ukrainian troops destroyed hundreds of T-80BV tank convoy in Kharkiv,\u201d reads the title of the video, which shows various clips of Russian military vehicles being destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>The six-minute video, however, does not show any proof that hundreds of Russian <a href=\"http:\/\/www.military-today.com\/tanks\/t80.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">T-80BV<\/a> tanks had been destroyed in Kharkiv. If this had occurred, credible media outlets would have covered it, yet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=tank+convoy+kharkiv+destroyed&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=nws&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=2ahUKEwj697D8wPb4AhVdkokEHZ9eBf8Q_AUoA3oECAEQBQ&#038;biw=1440&#038;bih=821&#038;dpr=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">none have<\/a>. While there were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/siladityaray\/2022\/04\/14\/ukrainian-military-claims-it-has-blown-up-a-bridge-carrying-a-russian-convoy-in-kharkiv\/?sh=600446d175ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media reports<\/a> of the Ukrainians destroying a bridge in the Kharkiv region with a Russian convoy on it, Check Your fact could not find any evidence that \u201chundreds\u201d of Russian tanks were destroyed in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Two open-source intelligence groups that track the conflict in Ukraine \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UAWeapons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UA Weapons Tracker<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Osinttechnical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OSINTtechnical<\/a> \u2014 told Check Your Fact there has not been a convoy of hundreds of T-80 tanks destroyed in Kharkiv in one attack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhilst large quantities of T-80 series tanks have been destroyed in Kharkiv Oblast and other areas, I am not sure that it would be accurate to say \u2018hundreds,\u2019 although over a hundred may be better,\u201d UA Weapons Tracker said in an email statement to Check Your Fact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t look like the Russians have lost that number of vehicles around Kharkiv,\u201d OSINTtechnical said in a Twitter direct message. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/06\/16\/fact-check-ukraine-russia-tanks-delivery-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Is Ukraine Using German Howitzers To Fight Russia?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Both accounts are linked to Oryx, an open-source military analysis website that tracks vehicle losses in Ukraine.
