The photo has nothing to do with the recent protest in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dutch farmers have formed \u201cfreedom convoys\u201d to protest against proposed emissions regulations that could limit the number of livestock a farmer can possess, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/world\/dutch-farmers-form-freedom-convoys-protest-governments-strict-environmental-rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox News<\/a>. The Dutch protesters were joined by groups in Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland last weekend, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-environment\/dutch-farming-protests-spread-eu-costs-climate-goals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Washington Examiner<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>One image shared on Facebook claims to show an image from the Dutch protests. It shows a man using a tractor to tow a plane out of a hangar. \u201cPrivate jet used primarily by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and other officials stolen from government hanger by angry farmers,\u201d reads the image\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>The image predates the current protests and was not taken in the Netherlands. A reverse image search revealed it is actually a screen grab from a short video that can be found on the stock photo website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pond5.com\/stock-footage\/item\/84734712-jet-being-towed-tractor-hanger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pond5<\/a>. The video shows the same man towing the plane. It is dated to March and includes a description that indicates it was filmed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJet being towed by tractor from hanger (sic) in African airport \u2013 Lubumbashi, DRC,\u201d reads the video\u2019s description.<\/p>\n<p>There are no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=dutch+prime+minister+plane+stolen&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=nws&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=2ahUKEwiTsrzL1fb4AhXFGFkFHVkNAGUQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&#038;biw=1440&#038;bih=821&#038;dpr=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">credible news reports<\/a> to suggest a private jet belonging to Rutte has been stolen. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/02\/09\/fact-check-germany-farmers-vaccine-mandate-protest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Video Show German Farmers Protesting Against Vaccine Mandates?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Social media users have been using old images and presenting them as new photos of the Dutch protests.
