Lovato showed a photo of the gruesome forehead injury and its unlikely cause.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuess who hit their head on a crystal and has to get stitches before Kimmel tomorrow???\u201d Lovato wrote in the caption. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@ddlovato\/video\/7120013806125731114\">video<\/a> included the popular \u201cThey\u2019re Gonna Know\u201d audio clip \u2014 and featured Lovato mouthing \u201cF***\u201d at the end.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCool for the Summer\u201d singer went into more detail while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=p3_lKmFy-58\">speaking<\/a> with \u201cKimmel\u201d guest host Mark Rober Thursday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was picking something up off the floor that I dropped,\u201d Lovato explained. As a \u201chuge fan of crystals,\u201d Lovato went on to describe how a tall, sharp amethyst did the damage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The singer elaborated about having to get three stitches the previous night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI called my doctor and I was like, \u2018Hey, I just hit my face, do I need stitches?\u2019 and he was like, \u2018FaceTime me.\u2019 So we FaceTimed and I was like, \u2018I have Kimmel tomorrow. What do I do?\u2019\u201d Lovato continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I did what any sane person would do and made a TikTok,\u201d the singer quipped.<\/p>\n<p>Lovato has sung the praises of crystals used for their healing benefits before.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a 2021 Washington Post story, the \u201cHeart Attack\u201d singer showed off crystals that were at the bottom of a bottle of fragrance which Lovato had mixed by hand. The pop star allegedly uses crystals for their \u201chealing properties,\u201d an idea that\u2019s been widely embraced in Hollywood.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The singer was on the show promoting a new album, \u201cHOLY FVCK,\u201d which is set to be released on August 19.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m pissing people off by living my truth,\u201d Lovato shared in a TikTok post about the new album. \u201cAnd I\u2019m f***ing okay with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/im-pissing-people-off-and-im-fing-okay-with-it-demi-lovato-announces-new-album-holy-f-with-dark-themes\">reported<\/a> how Lovato staged a pop career funeral to signify changing into a new kind of recording artist.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I\u2019m grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me,\u201d Lovato shared in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNever have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself.
