(Chip Somodevilla\/Getty Images)<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cOur commitment to provide opportunities for all to live out the American dream is broadening our base because our ideas transcend all backgrounds,\u201d\u00a0she said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnlike Democrats, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-republicans\">Republicans<\/a> do not take minority communities for granted and we will continue to work to earn each vote ahead of November.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Civics Curriculum<\/h2>\n<p>Training materials in the program are adapted from the\u00a0civics curriculum of the\u00a0U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). RNC staff who have received certification to be USCIS instructors will administer the course.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to working with USCIS, the RNC will be working with nonprofits across the country, including Civics Fundamentals, as it delivers the civics curriculum,\u201d the RNC announced.<\/p>\n<p>The first of the training courses was held on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOP\/status\/1547603578910437381?s=20&#038;t=McDhiaTIBxwHAv4dfwh0UA\">Thursday<\/a> at the RNC Hispanic Community Center in Doral, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>More training courses will be held in battleground states ahead of the midterms, including in \u201cTexas, Georgia, Nevada, California, Pennsylvania and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the RNC, as of January 2021, there are more than\u00a09.2 million lawful permanent residents in the United States who are eligible to become citizens.<\/p>\n<div class=\"author_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"one_author_block round\">\n<div class=\"top_row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/author-mimi-nguyen-ly\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/WEB_MimiNguyen_1.jpg\" alt=\"Mimi Nguyen Ly\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Follow<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mimi Nguyen Ly covers world news with a focus on U.S. news.
