Standing up to object to the proposed bill, Lankford poured water on some of the Democrats\u2019 claims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be very clear: no state has banned interstate travel for adult women seeking to obtain an abortion. No state has done that,\u201d\u00a0Lankford said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fm7zBXdhmY0&#038;feature=youtu.be\">on the floor<\/a> of the U.S. Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Lankford called the bill \u201cmisinformation\u201d and said it was another effort \u201cto\u00a0inflame\u201d and raise \u201cthe what-ifs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In bringing the bill to the Senate, Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cortezmasto.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/cortez-masto-whitehouse-murray-gillibrand-introduce-legislation-to-protect-the-right-of-women-to-cross-state-lines-to-seek-abortion-care\">cited reports<\/a> in the Washington Post about Republican state legislators pursuing bills that would limit women from traveling interstate to access abortions.<\/p>\n<p>Dismissing those concerns, Lankford noted that there are thousands of bills filed in the Senate, \u201cand how many of them are actually going to move?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, am I confident there are some people that are out there talking?
