A spokesperson for The Guardian confirmed the outlet did not publish such a headline.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact has debunked <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/06\/08\/fact-check-did-guardian-publish-article-trial-holocaust\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">countless<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/05\/07\/fact-check-new-york-times-publish-opinion-comparing-kim-yo-jong-elizabeth-warren\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fabricated<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/01\/18\/fact-check-bbc-news-jamaican-men\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">images<\/a> that purportedly show articles from credible news outlets. The most recent example of the trend appears to be an image shared on Facebook that seemingly shows a screenshot of an article from The Guardian with a headline that reads,\u201d \u2018I think he really wanted what\u2019s best for people\u2019: Donald Trump praises Marx in recent interview.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Karl-Marx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marx<\/a> was a 19th-century German philosopher who, along with Friedrich Engels, published \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Communist-Manifesto-Karl-Marx\/dp\/0717802418\/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=the+communist+manifesto&#038;qid=1657822263&#038;sprefix=The+Communist+%2Caps%2C106&#038;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Communist Manifesto<\/a>\u201d in 1848. <span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/06\/30\/fact-check-trump-cassidy-hutchinson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Trump Make This Statement About Cassidy Hutchinson?)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cCiting a Tucker Carlson segment, Trump states he has been \u2018really radicalized against these wealthy, cosmopolitan liberals,&#8217;\u201d the subheadline to the purported article reads. Notably, the post does not specify which Carlson segment former President Donald Trump supposedly cited.<\/p>\n<p><span>The same screenshot was also <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/arg_abe\/status\/1546156823660609536?s=20&#038;t=s3W7PRNW-liGBPwqjQR_7w\"><span>shared on Twitter<\/span><\/a><span>. \u201cMarxist-Trumpsism,\u201d wrote one Twitter user who shared two screenshots of the alleged article.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"ro\">Marxist-Trumpism <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/f2f5tY3vE2\">pic.twitter.com\/f2f5tY3vE2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 SA\ud83e\udd9b (@arg_abe) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/arg_abe\/status\/1546156823660609536?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 10, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>This screen grab is digitally fabricated, however.
