Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), the former White House physician who served the last three presidents\u2014George W. Bush, Obama, and Donald Trump\u2014disclosed the email in a forthcoming memoir called \u201cHolding the Line: A Lifetime of Defending Democracy and American Values,\u201d reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/exclusive-read-private-email-obama-sent-former-doc-after-questioned-bidens-cognitive-health\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, when Biden was running for president and Jackson himself was running for Congress, the latter shared a video\u00a0of Biden\u2019s cognitive misadventure on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RonnyJacksonTX\/status\/1232414578979540992?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">Twitter\u00a0<\/a>with the message, \u201cRemember the cognitive test that I gave @realDonaldTrump? The one he aced! Sounds like somebody else might need some testing done!! Scary!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Within 20 minutes of his post, Jackson received what he called a \u201cscathing\u201d email from his former boss Obama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have made a point of not commenting on your service in my successor\u2019s administration and have always spoken highly of you both in public and in private,\u201d Obama wrote in the email, calling him \u201cnot only a fine doctor and service member but also a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s why I have to express my disappointment at the cheap shot you took at Joe Biden via Twitter,\u201d the former president continued. \u201cIt was unprofessional and beneath the office that you once held. It was also disrespectful to me and the many friends you had in our administration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Obama told Jackson that he \u201cexpect[s] better, and I hope upon reflection that you will expect more of yourself in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After contemplating responding to Obama\u2019s email, Jackson said he eventually decided to walk away from it, which ended up being their last contact.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Remember the cognitive test I gave <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@realDonaldTrump<\/a>?
