Jim Jordan (R-OH) is not ruling out the pursuit of impeachment of U.S. Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/merrick-garland\">Merrick Garland<\/a> if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/republican-party\">Republicans<\/a> take the House in November.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan, who\u2019s in line to take over the House Judiciary Committee if the GOP prevails in the 2022 midterms, outlined two avenues for a potential impeachment, namely Garland\u2019s inaction on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/gop-congressman-calls-on-attorney-general-to-prosecute-abortion-rights-activists-demonstrating-at-homes-of-scotus-justices\">protests outside conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices\u2019 homes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/ag-garland-besieged-by-requests-to-defend-pro-life-clinics-organizations\">attacks on pro-life clinics<\/a>, and potential coordination with Left-wing groups opposed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/ag-garland-says-he-wont-rescind-doj-memo-directing-fbi-to-investigate-confrontations-at-school-board-meetings\">parents protesting curricula<\/a> at school board meetings, The Washington Free Beacon <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/republicans-weigh-garland-impeachment-as-biden-doj-drags-feet-on-extremist-abortion-protesters\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019ll be a decision that will be made by the entire conference,\u201d Jordan told the outlet during an interview published Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe key question we would like to find out, if in fact the American people put us in control, is was this similar to what happened with parents at school board meetings?\u201d the Republican posed. \u201cIn other words, was the Biden White House working with some outside left wing influence groups, and also then communicating that information to the DOJ?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pro-abortion activists have shown up outside the homes of justices <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/pro-abortion-protest-outside-justice-thomass-house-after-dobbs\">Clarence Thomas<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pro-abortion-protestors-march-at-justice-amy-coney-barretts-home-with-blood-and-doll-props\">Amy Coney Barrett<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/armed-man-found-near-kavanaugh-home-pleads-not-guilty-to-attempted-murder\">Brett Kavanaugh<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Most seriously, Nicholas John Roske was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/police-id-armed-man-who-said-he-wanted-to-kill-supreme-court-justice-kavanaugh-report\">charged<\/a> with attempted murder of Kavanaugh last month.<\/p>\n<p>The armed 26-year-old crossed state lines and arrived near Kavanaugh\u2019s home with the intent to kill the conservative justice so he couldn\u2019t rule on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/second-amendment\">Second Amendment<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/abortion\">abortion<\/a> cases, the Department of Justice (DOJ) alleged in a press release, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/armed-man-found-near-kavanaugh-home-pleads-not-guilty-to-attempted-murder\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to the one-count indictment and other court documents, on June 8, 2022, Roske intended to kill an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court,\u201d the DOJ said. \u201cCourt documents alleges that Roske traveled from California to Maryland, intending to kill the Supreme Court Justice, arriving at the residence of a current Justice of the Supreme Court in the early morning hours of June 8, 2022.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Free Beacon noted that it\u2019s a federal crime to demonstrate outside a judge\u2019s home with the intent to influence deliberations. While Roske has been charged, the report said there has yet to be action against protesters demonstrating outside justices\u2019 homes.<\/p>\n<p>On the other front of possible impeachment, the DOJ potentially targeted parents opposing leftist curricula at school board meetings on behalf of the National School Boards Association.<\/p>\n<p>The NSBA sent a letter pressuring the Biden administration to\u00a0crack down on \u201cthreats of violence and acts of intimidation\u201d at local school board meetings, adding that the\u00a0Patriot Act could be used to look into \u201cacts of malice, violence and threats against public school officials,\u201d which the group said \u201ccould be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/school-board-association-that-wrote-letter-comparing-parents-to-domestic-terrorists-has-lost-1-million\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Days later, Garland\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/doj-fbi-investigating-disturbing-spike-in-harassment-threats-against-school-administrators\">announced<\/a>\u00a0he was ordering the FBI to investigate \u201charassment, intimidation, and threats of violence\u201d against school board members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/republicans-demand-garland-designate-members-of-janes-revenge-as-domestic-terrorists\">Republicans Demand FBI, DHS Designate Members Of Jane\u2019s Revenge As Domestic\u00a0Terrorists<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
