The poll found: 48% of Americans believe Trump should \u201cdefinitely not\u201d run, and 13% think he should \u201cprobably not\u201d run.<\/p>\n<p>That same poll found that about 28% of Americans think Biden should run for president in 2024: 14% of Americans think he \u201cdefinitely\u201d should, and another 14% think he \u201cprobably\u201d should, Politico reported.<\/p>\n<p>But the polling also found that 64% of Americans think he should not run again: 46% of Americans believe Biden should \u201cdefinitely not\u201d run, while 18% think he should \u201cprobably not\u201d run again.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, a\u00a0New York Times\/Siena College poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/07\/12\/us\/politics\/trump-approval-polling-2024.html?smid=tw-share\">released Tuesday<\/a> found that almost half of Republican voters are looking beyond Trump for a presidential candidate in 2024, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is the most favorable alternative.<\/p>\n<p>These are not the first polls to expose such attitudes \u2014 a June 10 <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.cdn.yougov.com\/2e7fbuwkn8\/20220610_yahoo_tabs.pdf\">Yahoo\/YouGov poll<\/a> found 64% of respondents do not think Biden should run for re-election, and 55% of respondents did not believe Trump should run again.<\/p>\n<p>When the November 2024 elections arrive, Biden will be almost 82 years old, while Trump will be 78.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe failing New York Times is down 40% year-to-date because they are Fake News,\u201d Trump said in a Tuesday statement, apparently in response to the polling. \u201cTheir reporters are dishonest, and their front page has become a work of total fiction, not news. THE NEW YORK TIMES IS TRULY THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Politico conducted that polling online between July 8 and July 10 with a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points.
