We sold our cars, got an Escalade to fit all the dogs on the drive. I put my house on the market, sold my house \u2014 we just went back and got the rest of our stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was hard for me to decide that, just because I\u2019m leaving everyone I know in California,\u201d Winter said, later telling Sanders and Bowen that she lived in L.A. her entire life before the move. The young actress goes back to Hollywood for her work, but her permanent address is elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Winter left L.A. in pursuit of a quieter life and a new beginning, she explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPart of the reason I always hated L.A. was because I have been followed by paparazzi for a very long portion of my life,\u201d she detailed. \u201cAnd I really, really dislike having my space invaded. I don\u2019t like pictures of me when I haven\u2019t signed up for pictures of me. I don\u2019t like feeling watched. I\u2019ve always just wanted to live a very, very normal life, just have a normal existence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never really felt like I could do that in L.A.,\u201d the actress continued. \u201cEverywhere I went, someone\u2019s taking my picture. And I\u2019m just not that type of person. Fame and all that has never been something that I have any interest in. I just wanted to live as normal a life as I could.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>About a month and a half post-move, Winter said she\u2019s \u201chappy\u201d with her choice and finds it \u201cso exciting and awesome and relaxing\u201d to know that she can live a more \u201cnormal\u201d life. \u201cNow, only what I want to be out there will be put out there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSofia the First\u201d voice actress noted her new location has a lot of \u201cindustry people\u201d who similarly fled L.A. \u2014 which is not surprising since numerous big-name stars have publicly discussed their decisions to leave Hollywood in the dust.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, actor\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/hollywood-is-not-america-why-so-many-celebrities-are-leaving-los-angeles\">Matthew McConaughey<\/a> and his wife <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/matthew-mcconaugheys-wife-opens-up-on-their-decision-to-leave-malibu-for-a-life-that-embodies-their-belief-system-in-texas\">Camila Alves<\/a> made headlines for kicking Cali to the curb for Republican-run Texas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been great,\u201d Alves said about the move, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/matthew-mcconaugheys-wife-opens-up-on-their-decision-to-leave-malibu-for-a-life-that-embodies-their-belief-system-in-texas\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported.\u00a0\u201cIt really embodies our belief system, especially the ones I grew up with, like going to church every Sunday, saying \u2018yes ma\u2019am\u2019 or \u2018no, sir.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI grew up saying those things coming from a family of farmers,\u201d the model continued. \u201cFor me, being from Brazil and then coming to Texas, I discovered a lot of similarities in terms of what families practice here, especially going to church on Sundays, and being very into the outdoors.
