Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em> that overturned <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, the landmark 1973 decision that conferred a right to abortion.<\/p>\n<p>During a show Saturday at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin, the band put captions on a large screen behind them that, with one saying \u201cabort the Supreme Court,\u201d the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/entertainment\/music\/2022\/07\/10\/rage-against-machine-explodes-slams-supreme-court-first-show-11-years-alpine-valley-wisconsin\/10020029002\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cForced birth in a country that is the only wealthy country in the world without any guaranteed paid parental leave at the national level,\u201d read one caption. \u201cForced birth in a country where Black birth-givers experience maternal mortality two to three times higher than that of white birth-givers,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cForced birth in a country where gun violence is the number one cause of death among children and teenagers,\u201d said a third caption.<\/p>\n<p>Then in all caps came: \u201cABORT THE SUPREME COURT.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cAbort the Supreme Court,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RATM?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RATM<\/a> proclaim via video message <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AVMTheatre?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AVMTheatre<\/a> Saturday for their reunion tour kickoff. Last month, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong suggested he plans to relocate, saying \u201cthere\u2019s just too much f***ing stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f***ing excuse for a country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m \u2026 renouncing my citizenship. I\u2019m f***ing coming here,\u201d he said in London while on tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer. \u201cOh, I\u2019m not kidding, you\u2019re going to get a lot of me in the coming days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the Glastonbury Festival in June, singer Phoebe Bridgers led the crowd in a chant against the Supreme Court. And singer Olivia Rodrigo said on stage, \u201cI\u2019m devastated and terrified.
