Ted Cruz<\/a> in a rambling phone call to his office last month is on the lam after failing to show up for a court appearance, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Isaac A. Nformangum, 22, of Richmond, was charged with making a terroristic threat against Cruz in a June 26 call in which he complained about the Republican Party platform. In the call, which was transcribed and included in the criminal complaint drafted by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox26houston.com\/tag\/us\/tx\/harris-county\">Harris County<\/a>\u00a0District Attorney\u2019s Office, Nformangum allegedly threatened to kill Cruz and his GOP colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery last one of your Republican colleagues to have signed off on that platform is to be found, and is to be found and killed, be it by a bullet to the face or by the smashing of a brick in your skull,\u201d Nformangum allegedly said in the message. \u201cIt is a civic duty of every American citizen or resident to see to it that every last one of your colleagues is to be killed. Killed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Nformangum is charged with a felony of Terroristic Threat, July 3, was released on a PR Bond. D.A.&#8217;s office confirmed w FOX 26 that because the 22yo failed to show up in court Fri he is now a wanted fugitive &#038; there is an active warrant out for his arrest <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/emIp2n61WN\">https:\/\/t.co\/emIp2n61WN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Crime Fighter (@houcrimefighter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/houcrimefighter\/status\/1545504982987784192?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 8, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nformangum, who addressed Cruz by his full name, Rafael Eduardo Cruz, was arrested shortly after the message was left, but he was released on bond July 3. The district attorney\u2019s office told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5ny.com\/news\/houston-area-man-charged-for-threatening-to-kill-senator-ted-cruz\">Fox 26<\/a> that because Nformangum failed to appear for a court hearing on Friday, he is now considered a fugitive. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>The message left at Cruz\u2019s office was particularly chilling, because the speaker threatened to come after Republican lawmakers at their homes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBe it by finding you in a public space or by trailing you to your very, by your very public homes,\u201d the message said. \u201cThe addresses of which are public knowledge. You and every one of your colleagues is to be shot dead. Found and killed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-bdVaJa dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-2 hLMqRF\">Prosecutors say the phone number used to make that call was registered to a woman with the last name Nformangum. Investigators uncovered an Instagram account belonging to Isaac Nformangum which included a YouTube video with a recording of his voice which allegedly matched the voice that left the threat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-bdVaJa dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-2 hLMqRF\">\u201cI believe the voice on the recording left on Senator Cruz\u2019 voicemail is the same voice heard while watching the YouTube video on the Instagram account associated with Issac [sic] Ambe Nformangum,\u201d a Harris County District Attorney\u2019s Office investigator attested.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Texas man accused of threatening Sen.
