All Rights Reserved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Speaking with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.empireonline.com\/tv\/news\/she-hulk-antithesis-superhero-narratives-tatiana-maslany-exclusive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Empire<\/a> to promote the show, Maslany discussed her friendship with Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo saying, \u201cWe were so goofy, like two kids who had been handed shovels by our parents and told to go and play in the sandbox.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She then revealed the show is inspired by Sophie, \u201cI always come back to Sophie, who\u2019s this amazing trans artist who unfortunately died last year. There\u2019s this great element of denial in her that\u2019s relatable.
