Wade<\/em>, issued <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teenvogue.com\/story\/how-to-get-an-abortion-if-youre-a-teen-post-roe-v-wade\">new guidance<\/a> on Thursday for its young audience on how to procure an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2019, Teen Vogue published an article titled, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teenvogue.com\/story\/how-to-get-an-abortion-if-youre-a-teen\">How to Get an Abortion If You\u2019re a Teen<\/a>\u201d in which the author posited, \u201cIt\u2019s only logical that if teens are mature enough to become parents, they are mature enough\u00a0to decide whether or not they want to give birth. Having access to abortion should be your right, regardless of your parents\u2019 beliefs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know your parents best: Do you fear for your safety if you reveal your pregnancy?\u201d the 2019 article asked. \u201cAre you worried they might meet you with violence or kick you out of the house? If yes, there is a legal option in\u00a036 \u00a0states that would let you get an abortion without parental approval called a judicial bypass procedure \u2014 an infantilizing holdup to which nobody should have to resort.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody loves someone who\u2019s had an abortion. Including you,\u201d the 2019 article concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday\u2019s guidance opined, \u201cOn Friday, June 24, the Supreme Court struck down\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, ending the constitutional right to an abortion and creating chaos across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor pregnant people in the seven current states\u00a0that have near total abortion bans in effect, it\u2019s a stressful and confusing situation,\u201d the article continued. \u201cFor pregnant youth, that stress and confusion is compounded by a system designed to make accessing an abortion even more difficult for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is possible to safely self-manage an abortion through medication,\u201d the new guidance advised, \u201cThe World Health Organization has specific guidance\u00a0on self-managed abortion with pills up to 10 weeks of pregnancy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After pointing to various sites teenagers could visit for abortion \u201cmedication,\u201d Teen Vogue cautioned, \u201cDepending on your state\u2019s current abortion laws, it could take a while for the pills to get to you, but it is worth going through a reputable provider to ensure that the medication you get is verifiable and safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Teen Vogue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/watch-teen-vogue-advises-teenagers-about-hank-berrien\">released<\/a> a video titled, \u201c5 Common Misconceptions About Sex and Gender.\u201d The video featured various speakers insisting that gender is a fluid construct and \u201cbinary is bulls***.\u201d Additional comments also mocked the concept that if a boy has a penis, he\u2019s a boy, and if a girl has a vagina, she\u2019s a girl.<\/p>\n<p>The video began with Belgian model Hanne Gaby preaching, \u201cI\u2019m Hanne Gaby and I\u2019m here to tell you that binary is bulls***.\u201d Author Katrina Karkazis chimed in, \u201cSex typically refers to your biological traits.\u201d Teen Vogue producer Maria Gridas grinned, \u201cLike your gonads, your genitalia, your internal sex characteristics, your hormone production, hormone response, and secondary sex characteristics.\u201d<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teen Vogue, disturbed by the recent Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v.
