Senator Graham plans to go to court, challenge the subpoena, and expects to prevail,\u201d Graham\u2019s lawyers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewFeinberg\/status\/1544690185291669504\/photo\/1\">said<\/a> in a statement Wednesday, describing the request as \u201call politics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, officials in Fulton County issued subpoenas to not only Graham, but six other individuals connected to former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The subpoena ordered the Republican senator to give testimony to the grand jury in the inquiry on July 12.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the telephone calls, the witness questioned Secretary Raffensperger and his staff about reexamining certain absentee ballots cast in Georgia in order to explore the possibility of a more favorable outcome for former President Donald Trump,\u201d the subpoena issued against Graham read. \u201cThe witness also made reference to allegations of widespread voter fraud in the November 2020 election in Georgia, consistent with public statements made by known affiliates of the Trump Campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> \u2018All Politics\u2019 <\/p>\n<p>But his lawyers said Wednesday that \u201cas chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Graham was well within his rights to discuss with state officials the processes and procedures around administering elections\u201d and that information that is potentially provided to Fulton County officials had been shared with the Georgia Secretary of State\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2020\/11\/30\/public-hearing-az.-6-1200x554.jpg\"><\/a> Then-President Donald Trump\u2019s lawyers Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani as seen at a hearing in Phoenix, Ariz., on Nov. 30, 2020.
