Yesterday, <a href=\"https:\/\/thenationalpulse.com\/2022\/07\/05\/biden-doe-official-defended-underage-sex-site\/\">we revealed how Brinton had defended<\/a> underage gay prostitution website Rentboy.com in a 2015 op-ed.<\/p>\n<p>On February 2nd, an anonymous Department of Energy (DOE) whistleblower sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exchangemonitor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ig-letter46100.pdf\">letter<\/a> to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Deputy Inspector General Norbert Vint, alleging that \u201cprohibited personnel practices\u201d were utilized in tapping Brinton for the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUndue political influence and preferences were applied\u201d at the DOE to select Brinton for the position, which the employee also alleged Brinton was was potentially unqualified to hold, the letter claims.<\/p>\n<p>Brinton\u2019s \u201cbackground is limited to select advocacy work and an academic background at the graduate-degree level which together satisfy requirements for the competitive placement of a qualified GS-11 in federal career service, not a high-standing member of the SES,\u201d explained the employee. SES is short for Senior Executive Service, a civil service grade equivalent to general officer or flag officer rank.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is concern that making personnel selection decisions for career positions based on political considerations and gender-fluid identity as means of exerting political influence over the workforce, and at the expense of other better qualified candidates, is not the intent of the U.S. civil service laws or the U.S. constitution,\u201d continued the letter, signed by a \u201cLong serving public servant at the U.S. Department of Energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/thenationalpulse.com\/2022\/07\/05\/biden-doe-official-defended-underage-sex-site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"u1e10dc518df826ecc3a58cb738dc5277\"><\/p>\n<style scoped> .u1e10dc518df826ecc3a58cb738dc5277 { padding:0px;
