Jackson\u00a0<\/em>ruling or their coverage of abortion in general but a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/harvardharrispoll.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/HHP_June2022_KeyResults.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new poll<\/a>\u00a0from Harvard Center for American Political Studies\/Harris found that most Americans don\u2019t want the Supreme Court to decide abortion law, as it did in <em>Roe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>One glance at CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, or any other corrupt press outlet after the Supreme Court ruled to overturn <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> yielded an avalanche of fomented outrage that Republican-nominated judges conspired to take away \u201cwomen\u2019s reproductive rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Multiple outlets <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/business\/status\/1540337423435137025?s=20&#038;t=dQVOwj1TTZuQXoNUmn12vw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ironically framed the <em>Dobbs<\/em> decision<\/a> as unconstitutional and falsely claimed women, even those suffering from <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/29\/no-dobbs-doesnt-stop-doctors-from-treating-ectopic-pregnancies-or-miscarriages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ectopic pregnancies or miscarriages<\/a>, would die because <em>Roe<\/em> was overturned.<\/p>\n<p>On its face, the Harvard poll seems to back the media\u2019s narrative by revealing that only 45 percent of the country believes <em>Roe <\/em>should be overturned and 55 percent think it should stay. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s only part of the story though because Americans truly don\u2019t understand what the end of <em>Roe <\/em>actually means. Polling may seem to suggest that Americans back the name of the abortion case that has cursed the nation for almost 50 years but a majority of them don\u2019t agree with its substance.   <\/p>\n<p>Dig a little deeper into the same polls that the media touts to tell half-baked truths about public opinion on abortion and you\u2019ll find similar results to the Harvard survey: At least 44 percent of Americans \u2014 a plurality \u2014 prefer for abortion issues to be dealt with at the state level. Only a quarter want the Supreme Court to decide, while less than a third (31 percent) want to leave it up to Congress. <\/p>\n<p>That is exactly what the rollback of <em>Roe<\/em> actually entails but for years, the corrupt press has constantly justified its pro-abortion coverage by claiming without context that most of the country supports<em> Roe<\/em>. It\u2019s a talking point that they repeat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/politics\/majority-of-americans-dont-want-roe-overturned\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">over<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/05\/19\/1099844097\/abortion-polling-roe-v-wade-supreme-court-draft-opinion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">over<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/upholding-roe-v-wade-is-supported-by-most-americans-wsj-poll-finds-11654162200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">over<\/a> again yet the data doesn\u2019t back a federally-mandated abortion free-for-all. <\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact, the majority of Americans, 72 percent, support bans on abortions at least as restrictive as a ban after 15 weeks of gestation. Even 60 percent of Democrats say their states should allow abortions no later than 15 weeks. That\u2019s a drastically different position than <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/05\/democrats-dont-just-want-to-keep-roe-they-want-the-unlimited-ability-to-kill-preborn-babies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Democrat politicians\u2019<\/a> calls for unlimited abortion and the media\u2019s amplification of that radical position.<\/p>\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FreeBeacon\/status\/1540340524753817605?s=20&#038;t=PfIOZWmRa3h5uf8PyoxkeA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emotional blackmail like crying on-air<\/a> that the <em>Dobbs<\/em> ruling is a \u201cheartbreaking betrayal of half of the country\u201d isn\u2019t enough, the media turn to twisted poll questions about Americans\u2019 true feelings about abortion to push their agenda.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s technically true that support for the name of <em>Roe<\/em> runs deep in the U.S. but polling shows that Americans don\u2019t care for abortion the way the press says they should. That\u2019s why results as shown in the recent Harvard poll matter. <\/p>\n<p>The same media that flags outlets such as The Federalist with fake \u201cfact\u201d \u201cchecks\u201d because they claim our articles are <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/05\/the-federalist-and-60-minutes-reported-the-same-story-guess-who-facebook-fact-checked\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cmissing context\u201d<\/a> have deliberately omitted the essential context needed to accurately represent where Americans stand on abortion. The corporate media is preying on Americans\u2019 ignorance of <em>Roe<\/em> and hand-picking poll results to wield their pro-abortion agenda against those same Americans. But they aren\u2019t telling the full story. <\/p>\n<p>Americans don\u2019t want the Supreme Court to dictate abortion law to states, plain and simple.
