Trump topped the list as \u201cmost favorable\u201d political figure in that poll as well \u2014 followed closely by former Vice President Mike Pence and independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders \u2014 and bested Biden by three points in overall favorability and Harris by six.<\/p>\n<p>Scarborough did not mention those numbers, however, and instead followed his initial tweet with a screenshot of a recent YouGov poll that showed Biden beating both DeSantis and Trump. This 2022 election is far more competitive at this stage than it should be,\u201d Scarborough continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd two years is a lifetime,\u201d he concluded, predicting that even if Trump were able to win a 2024 Republican primary, he would not win a general election. \u201cTrump may be ahead of DeSantis in primary matchups (though I\u2019m skeptical he would beat him) but Trump will not win a general election in 2024.
