Peter Alexander, Chief White House correspondent for <em>NBC News<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/secret-service-expected-to-contradict-allegations-that-trump-assaulted-agent-or-reach-for-steering-wheel\">tweeted<\/a>, &#8220;A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine\/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Trump insinuated that the media wasn&#8217;t being honest in their reporting saying, &#8220;They hardly even talk about the fact that she&#8217;s been totally discredited.&#8221; Trump was hopeful about additional testimony from Secret Service saying, &#8220;I hope they can testify.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Additional doubt was cast by Trump on the motives behind Hutchinson&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-trump-says-jan-6-witness-hutchinson-made-up-her-story-lied-to-committee\">testimony<\/a> with Trump claiming &#8220;She [Hutchinson] wanted to work for me after January 6, she was a big Trump fan. She wanted to work for me in Florida.&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Reports from 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/secret-witness-for-jan-6-committee-testifies-against-trump-after-being-denied-job-at-mar-a-lago\">confirm<\/a> Hutchinson was considered for a position with him in Florida post-January 6. Trump allegedly passed on continuing to work with her and claimed, &#8220;They said bad things about her,&#8221; and added, &#8220;She&#8217;s a total disaster. She&#8217;s a train wreck.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>The January 6 Committee is expected to continue their hearings over the course of the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a horrible thing that they can do to the country where they take this kind of time,&#8221; Trump said, &#8220;They don&#8217;t talk about making America great anymore.
