The rocker said he had to be taken to a local hospital for an \u201cunforeseen\u201d reason. He also thanked fans for their support and gave a bit more information about what went wrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo all the incredible fans in Nashville, thank you for all your well wishes!\u201d Michaels wrote on his official social media page. \u201cI was truly fired up to get on stage in the Music City and perform, but due to an unforeseen medical complication &#038; following hospitalization, it was not possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!\u201d the rocker added. \u201cI\u2019m working on being back 100% very soon &#038; hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley\/Leppard\/Joan and Classless Act!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Michaels didn\u2019t explain what landed him suddenly in the hospital, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/06\/30\/bret-michaels-hospitalized-reaction-medication-poison-canceled\/\">TMZ<\/a> reported that he was suffering an apparent reaction to medication triggered by his diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Poison has currently been on a huge stadium tour with other popular rock groups like Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Joan Jett.<\/p>\n<p>Fans in the audience reportedly shared that band members took the stage Thursday and told them that the show was off after Bret had to go to the hospital due to a bad reaction to some medicine. But no other details were given.<\/p>\n<p>The tour\u2019s next show is set for Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida, and Sunday in Mississippi.
