It comes after her divorce from country superstar Blake Shelton in 2015 and other public romances put her name in the headlines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I turned 30, I started to take life in a new direction and really start to understand myself a little better,\u201d Lambert told the outlet. \u201cAnd going through hard things obviously makes you get to know yourself better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you get broken down pretty good, you look at the mirror and you go, \u2018I have to spend some time with me, learn who I am and what I want,&#8217;\u201d she added. \u201cI got to a really good place with myself. Then I met my husband. I want to be open about how happy we are. I just don\u2019t give two s***s about people\u2019s opinion of me, my marriage, my music or anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just care that I\u2019m being me,\u201d the \u201cMama\u2019s Broken Heart\u201d hitmaker continued. \u201cHe jumped right into this lifestyle \u2014 there\u2019s a learning curve taking a New Yorker straight to the woods \u2014 but it was a big laugh. It\u2019s nice to have a partner in that, someone by your side that supports you, loves you and believes in you. He loves me for me. It\u2019s a really cool thing to have in my life, at this point in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The country star said she doesn\u2019t regret the experiences, \u201cheartbreaks,\u201d and trials she\u2019s been through. But she did offer a bit of advice, if she could, to her younger self starting out in Nashville.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a wild ride, hon,\u201d Miranda shared. \u00a0\u201cTake the reins, and hold on tight.\u00a0Without the hard stuff \u2014 the chaos, the crazy schedule, the heartbreak, the falling in love, the falling out of love \u2014 I wouldn\u2019t be who I am.
