It came after the NY Times published an article detailing Hunter\u2019s ties with Chinese oil giant CEFC\u2019s former chairman, Ye Jianming, who was arrested in China on bribery charges in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey pal, it\u2019s Dad,\u201d Biden began with his message. \u201cIt\u2019s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance, just give me a call. Nothing urgent.
