But first, get one thing straight: America was great \u2014 before you were elected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Streisand must have confused Trump with New York Democratic governor Andrew Cuomo, who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2018\/08\/15\/andrew-cuomo-america-was-never-that-great\/\">said<\/a>\u00a0in August 2018, \u201cWe\u2019re not going to make America great again; it was never that great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Streisand continued, \u201cEvery morning I wake up, holding my breath while I turn on my phone to see the latest news. I think to myself, \u2018It can\u2019t be worse than yesterday.\u2019 But when the news loads, I think, \u2018Ohhhhh, yes, it is worse.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Streisand might simply have been worried about gaining weight; in March 2017 Streisand\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/streisand-blames-trump-getting-fat-i-eat-pancakes-amanda-prestigiacomo\">moaned<\/a>, \u201cDonald Trump is making me gain weight.
