The closure has contributed to an ongoing baby formula shortage across the U.S., the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/06\/16\/1105488061\/baby-formula-plant-abbott-closed-flooding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">outlet<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/Uvgue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">image<\/a> shared on Facebook appears to show a pallet of boxes in a grocery store. \u201cOur family is on vacation in Mexico,\u201d reads text included in the post. \u201cThe shelves and isles were full. There was even pallets of formula. Folks we are being played. There is a shortage because the Biden Administration wants us to suffer. It is all about manipulation and control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The image does not show boxes of baby formula, however. Upon further inspection, the boxes in the picture appear to have logos from the Mexican companies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lalafoods.com\/english\/products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lala<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/alpura.com\/lacdel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lacdel<\/a>. Both companies sell a variety of dairy products, but neither sells baby formula, according to their websites. <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/05\/18\/fact-check-baby-formula-shortage-border-image\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Photo Show Stacks Of Baby Formula Boxes At The Border In May 2022?)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Lacdel boxes in the image are purple and white, with the design matching that of the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/alpura.com\/productos\/leche-lacdel-deslactosada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lactose-free milk<\/a>. Meanwhile, the design on the Lala boxes matches that of the company\u2019s teal and white <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chedraui.com.mx\/S%C3%BAper\/L%C3%A1cteos-y-Huevos\/Leche\/Especializada\/Leche-Lala-1-lt\/p\/000000000003104238\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lactose-free milk<\/a> cartons.
