Wade last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The model posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/tiktok\">TikTok<\/a> video Sunday explaining how she got pregnant while she was in a \u201cvery unhappy\u201d relationship, Page Six <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/06\/27\/ireland-baldwin-details-rape-abortion-after-roe-v-wade-reversal\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe made it clear that he never wanted kids or marriage,\u201d she said of her ex. \u201cHe barely wanted to be in a serious relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI chose to get an abortion because I know exactly what it felt like to be born between two people who hated each other,\u201d Baldwin continued, referencing her father\u2019s marriage to Ireland\u2019s mother Kim Basinger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCould I have had that baby and put that baby up for adoption? Maybe. Maybe not,\u201d Ireland continued. \u201cBut choosing to raise a baby without my own financial security, without a loving and supportive partner, that wasn\u2019t gonna work for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI chose me, and I would choose me again. It\u2019s your life, it\u2019s your choice,\u201d the model concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Ireland also spoke about being raped, though that\u2019s not how her aborted baby was conceived.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was completely unconscious when it happened, and it changed the course of the rest of my life,\u201d she said. \u201cI never told anyone at the time, not for years. The only person who knew was a nurse that treated me shortly after. And I didn\u2019t even tell my own boyfriend at the time. Not my parents. No one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ireland said being assaulted led to \u201ca lot of hurt and a lot of pain\u201d in the long term.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI spiraled. I lost control of my life,\u201d Ireland said. \u201cI drank a lot more. I partied a lot more. I self-medicated. I was in other abusive and toxic relationships. I pretty much did everything I could to distract myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing so many other brave women share their stories got me thinking what my life would have been like if I had become pregnant, and if I had to raise a baby during everything I was going through at the time,\u201d she continued, tying in her sexual assault experience with the Roe v. Wade reversal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would have simply been traumatizing and impossible,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It sounds like Ireland\u2019s sentiments are shared by other members of her family. Her father Alec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CfTW5NmO8NA\/\">reposted<\/a> a social media reaction to the historic Supreme Court decision that said, \u201cVery glad I don\u2019t live somewhere like China or Cuba and instead live in a country founded on DEMOCRACY where most laws are decided on by a council of unelected wizards doing seances to ask the ghost of Thomas Jefferson what he thinks.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ireland\u2019s stepmother Hilaria Baldwin shared an Instagram Story video of her 7-year-old son Rafael joining a protest from their apartment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen\u2019s rights!\u201d Rafael yelled out the window along with his 5-year-old brother, Leonardo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alec Baldwin\u2019s 26-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin is opening up about her abortion following the overturning of Roe v.
