It is unrelated to the current conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ordered a general mobilization and the conscription of all males aged between 18 and 60 in response to the recent Russian invasion, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/ukraine-president-orders-general-mobilization\/a-60908996\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DW News<\/a>. Males between the ages of conscription were also banned from leaving the country, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Instagram video allegedly shows a Ukrainian man running in a courtyard while avoiding several men dressed in military uniforms. \u201cTrying to serve to a Ukrainian a mobilization notice, None of them wanna do military service to Zelensky,\u201d reads the video\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>The footage predates the current hostilities in Ukraine. A reverse image search found that a similar video first appeared on YouTube in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3YvgM-70jDY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">May 2020<\/a> with a Russian-language title that translates to,\u201d\u2018Krasava!\u2019: In Sochi, the inhabitants of the observatories, out of boredom, practice \u2018catching up\u2019 with law enforcement officers.\u201d<br \/>[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cIn Sochi, inhabitants of observatories, languishing with boredom, almost daily become figures in the news from hotels in the Imeretinskaya lowland,\u201d reads a translation of the YouTube video\u2019s description, which includes a link to a May 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/sochinews.io\/2020\/05\/17\/krasava-v-sochi-obitateli-observatorov-ot-skuki-uprazhnyayutsya-s-pravoohranitelyami-v-dogonyalki\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SochiNews.io<\/a> article that states the man was a resident of a Sochi observatory who was in quarantine at the time.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time an old video has been misattributed to the war in Ukraine.
